Earthquake tremors of 5.1 magnitude felt in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: A moderate intensity earthquake, measuring 5.1 on the richter scale, shook Jammu and Kashmir, but there were no reports of loss of life or damage to property.

According to the MeT department, the quake hit Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday. Adding that the epicentre was in Ladakh region and its depth was 10 km inside the earth”.

Panic-stricken people rushed out of their homes as the quake struck.
