The hospitals are a sacred place. When a man is sick it is the place where he hopes he can recuperate from his illness. In Kashmir we had around 326 patients who turned positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday. While the media gaze is on Covid-19 patients, a lot of tragic events are happening in our hospitals with the non-Covid 19 patients, few are complaining of no attention while few are roaming without a face mask.
Masks can make a difference. But they only work to the extent that people wear them around others. When many people refuse to do it, out of selfishness, they give the virus a helping hand.
Covering faces is key to resuscitating the economy. If everyone wore a mask, businesses and their employees could be spared from the ravages of an extended slump.

If you don’t like wearing a mask, welcome to the Covid club, If you think it offers no health benefit, think again. If you’re mad at some people who insist you to not cover your face in public, keep in mind that you can’t make them accountable if you’re dead.
You know, It is a sad year for the entire world. How can we be so irresponsible with the lives of other by coming out of homes without a face mask? All these are questions that stare us straight in the face.
Are we waiting for more such incidents to happen in future? or do we have the strength to take certain proactive steps to ensure that cases wouldn’t rise in future? We need answers to these questions at this critical point in our history.
