Covid Surge: J-K reports 626 fresh cases

Jammu and Kashmir reported 626 fresh covid-19 cases even as there was no death due to the virus during the last 24 hours, officials said on Tuesday.

They said that 114 cases were reported from Jammu division and 512 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall tally to 470827. Among the cases, 172692 are from Jammu division and 298135 from Kashmir Valley.

There no death, either from Jammu or Kashmir Valley during the time. So far 4776 people succumbed to the virus and among them include 2346 from Jammu division and 2430 from the Valley.
