COVID-19:  Kashmir registers 3rd death in a single day, toll 16

Srinagar: Kashmir Valley registers 3rd death due to the deadly virus (COVID-19) on Monday, a 75-year-old Novel Coronavirus patient from Kokarnag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag died at CD hospital here in Srinagar.

A 76-year-old Women from Kokaenag, who had Thyroid cancer, last stage, and was tested positive for Novel Coronavirus, succumbed at CD hospital this evening. “She was shifted to CD hospital from SMHS after testing positive for the virus,” Nodal office said.

This is the 4th Covid death in Kashmir within 24hrs and third straight in single day.
