Coronavirus: Shopain lady dies in Srinagar,  J-K rises to 72

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday evening recorded fresh death due to the deadly virus (COVID-19), as a 60-year-old lady from Nidoora area of soutj Kashmir’s Shopian died here at Srinagar hospital.

MS CD Hospital, Dr Saleem Tak said, that the lady was a COVID-19 patient, but the cause of her death was hypertension and Septicemia which is a serious bloodstream infection and also known as blood poisoning.

“The patient was in serious condition and had been admitted in the hospital yesterday,” he added.

With this fresh death the total death toll due to COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir rose to 72.
