Srinagar: A 65-year-old man from Kakapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district died due to the deadly virus (COVID-19) at a hospital.

The sexagenarian’s death took the toll in Jammu and Kashmir to eighty-four.
Dr. Nazir Choudhary, Medical Superintendent at Shri Maharaja Hari Singh hospital, was quoted as saying by local news agency GNS that the patient had “bilateral pneumonia”. “He was admitted on 21 June and died on the same day. His sample returned positive,” he added.
