Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on saturday afternoon recorded 3rd death due to COVID-19 as an 80-year-old woman from Khudwani area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district died at Srinagar hospital.

An 80-year-Old Women had underlying ailments related to chest and kidney as swap sample report of an 80-year-old woman, who passed away at SMHS hospital today, returned positive for the novel coronavirus on Saturday MS SMHS Dr Nazir Choudhary said”.
He Further added that the lady was admitted on June 18 and her swab sample was taken on the same day.
She became the 10th Kulgam resident and 78th in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
With this fresh death the total death toll due to COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir rose to 79
