Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Monday reported 398 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 159 from Jammu division and 239 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 84031.
Also 11 COVID-19 deaths have been reported; 05 from Jammu division and 06 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 861 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 535 from Jammu Division and 326 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 84031 positive cases, 9992 are Active Positive, 72706 have recovered and 1333 have died; 434 in Jammu division and 899 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 1854486 test results available, 1770455 samples have been tested as negative till October 12, 2020.
Till date 615610 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 25024 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 9992 in isolation and 49240 in home surveillance. Besides, 530021 persons have completed their surveillance period.
