Coronavirus: 2nd death in a day, JK toll rises to 62

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on monday afternoon recorded fresh death due to the deadly virus (COVID-19) as a 70-year-old man from  Budgam district died herd at SMHS hospital Srinagar.

MS SMHS Hospital, Dr Nazir Choudhry said that 70-year-old Chadoora resident tests positive day after death. He admitted on June 14 and his swab sample returned positive for the covid-19 on Monday.

He became the 3rd Budgam resident and 62nd in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

With this fresh death the total death toll due to COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir rose to 62.
