Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on monday morning recorded fresh death due to the ready virus (Covid-19) as an 18-year-old boy from North Kashmir’s Kupwara district died here at Srinagar Hospital.
MS SMHS Hospital, Dr Nazir Choudhry said that though youth was Covid-19 infected, “He also had a history of physical assault.
The deceased was admitted to Srinagar’s SMHS hospital a couple of days ago and samples of the deceased were collected on 13 June and yesterday he was tested positive.
With this fresh death the total death toll due to Covid-19 in Jammu and Kashmir rose to 61
