Cop killed, another injured in south Kashmir militant attack

Srinagar: One policeman was killed and another injured after militants attacked a CRPF party in Prichoo village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.

Official sources said that, suspected militants fired upon a joint party of CRPF near Prichoo area of Pulwama, resulting in injuries to two forces personnel who were been removed to sub district hospital.

One of them was declared brought dead while other was referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.

Meanwhile, government forces have cordoned of the area, to nab the attackers.
