Consignment of narcotics, cash seized during police raid in Srinagar

Srinagar: A special police team seized narcotics and cash from the residential house of a Handwara man in Bemina area of Srinagar city this evening.

Police sources were quoted as saying by news agency KNT that, a special police team from North Kashmir’s Handwara town raided the house in MIG Colony Bemina Srinagar.

Sources added that besides a consignment of narcotics cash was also recovered during the raid.

Sources said that 21 kilogram of narcotics and cash worth Rs 1.5 crore were seized during the raid.

They house this consignment and cash was recovered from the house of one Peer Islam who is the original inhabitant of Handwara.
