The 4 km long road is dotted with potholes causing immense problems to the commuters as well as people who visit the area.

“The ongoing Widening Project is very disturbing. The beacon authorities are busy in blacktopping the upper side where the area is deserted but Gingle to Choolan road where many villages are living is left without Macdamization,” locals said.

“Due to the ongoing widening process, the road from Gingle to Choolan is in extreme bad state that people have to go through immense hardships during travels,” they said.

“Due to large chuck holes at various spots the commuters have to face a lot of mental pressure. The dust thus spread has made people and school-going children sick. It can cause serious health issues if the road is left poorly maintained” said Mohammad Iqbal Badana, a local resident.

“Heaps of material has been kept in between road which causes vehicles to jump,” he said

“Ambulances are not able to reach hospital because of the dilapidated roads. Due to delay the patients can die on spot,” Iqbal said.

Another local Waseem Badana said that even the drivers/owners who pay tax along with other taxpayers have a right to raise voice against this issue.

Mudasir Ahmed Khan a local resident, said that at some places the boundary walls have not been constructed to avoid shooting stones which can come down quickly causing calamities anytime.

“In spite of so many requests, the beacon authorites are closing their eyes and nothing quick is being done with regard to completion of the Widening process and blacktopping of the said patch,” said, Mudasir Khan, another local resident.

We appeal the LG Admin as well as the District administration to intervene into the matter as soon as possible so that the citizens may have a sign of relief.
