The price of petrol in Delhi stands at Rs 105.41 per litre while that of diesel is at Rs 96.67. In Mumbai, petrol currently costs Rs 120.51, while diesel is retailing at Rs 104.77, data available on Indian Oil Corporation’s website showed.
In the international market, oil prices extended losses on Friday, burdened by the prospect of interest rate hikes, weaker global growth and Covid-19 lockdowns in China hurting demand, even as the European Union weighed a ban on Russian oil, news agency Reuters reported.

Brent crude futures were down $1.30 (1.2 per cent) at $107.03 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures had declined $1.27 (1.2 per cent) to $102.52 a barrel, the report said.
