Srinagar : Home Minister Amit Shah has approved additional deployments of forces in Jammu and Kashmir to boost law and order and as part of this plan 100 additional companies of CAPFs will be deployed.
Out of 100, 50 companies will be deployed from the CRPF, followed by 10 from BSF, 30 from SSB and 10 from ITBP.

This development comes just a few days after National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval visited Kashmir to review the security arrangements where he had meetings with top officers of security forces and intelligence officers in Srinagar.
Rumours are rife that the Narendra BJP government is likely to scrap Articles 370 and Article 35- A within the first 100 days of its governance.
