Jammu : The CBI has registered a case against a educational trust run by former Jammu and Kashmir minister Lal Singh’s family and certain govt officials.
Official sources said that a team of CBI officials raided the residence of Lal Singh in Ward 2 of Kathua.
Talking to Good Morning Kashmir, former minister Lal Singh said that the CBI officials carried out raids at his residence. Adding that “let them [CBI] do their work, rest everything will come out in public domain.”
Asked about the hand of BJP behind raids conducted by CBI, Singh said that he can’t say anything on this.

On June 25, CBI had registered a preliminary enquiry (PE) to probe into allegations of land grabbing and corruption by an educational trust run by Singh, who had quit the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) in 2018.
Pertinently, it’s worth to mention here that Mr Singh had last year quit the BJP and floated the Dogra Swabhiman Sanghatan.
