CASO launched in Pattan village

The government forces on Sunday  launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Andergam village of Palhalan area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports reaching Good Morning Kashmir said that a joint team of Army’s RR, CRPF, SOG and Police launched a CASO at Andergam village of Pattan after receiving information about suspicious movement of militants in the area.

Official sources said that door-to-door search operation was launched in the area

However, no contact was established with the militants so far, they said, adding that the search was going on in the area.
