Body of 10-yr-old boy retrieved from Jhelum

The body of a 10-year-old boy, who drowned into river Jhelum at Cement bridge in Qamarwari area of Srinagar, was retrieved on Tuesday.

Official sources told KNO that a boy identified as Sheezan Fayaz, son of Fayaz Ahmad Malla drowned while taking a bath in river Jhelum today.

They said that the river police Srinagar retrieved the body of boy, adding that the body has been handed over to the family for last rites
