BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Thursday stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is fully prepared for the upcoming assembly elections.
Chugh emphasized that the people have moved past the policies of the three prominent political dynasties in Jammu and Kashmir—the Abdullahs, the Muftis, and the Nehrus.
Chugh highlighted that the public has shown a clear preference for the governance model and development initiatives championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to him, the voters have expressed their happiness and confidence (‘vishwas’) in the leadership of Modi, coupled with the development (‘vikas’) efforts undertaken during his tenure.
The BJP leader asserted that the rejection of the dynastic policies indicates a significant shift in the political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir. He mentioned that the party is focused on bringing about a new era of development and trust in the region, which resonates with the aspirations of the local populace.
Chugh’s statements come as the BJP is intensifying its campaign efforts and strategizing for a strong showing in the assembly polls. The party aims to build on its current momentum and secure a decisive mandate from the electorate.
