Kashmir, an epitome of humanity is heading towards darkness and destruction. Moral values are being buried from time to time. Nowadays, people have zero tolerance towards each other, especially youngsters who have anger issues that overpower their positive side. The modern youth is setting a bad example for future generations. Crime rates are on the rise in the valley. A day before, a man was stabbed to death which brings shivers in the spine. Earlier, the Budgam murder case hurt the sentiments of people and now again one more shameful incident has taken place breaking millions of hearts. Murdering one person means killing the whole of humanity. Old Kashmir was a blessing to people and such incidents never happened. Family, friends, neighbors, and relatives shared a deep bond with each other. There was no room for arguments, envy, and hatred. They were ready to help one another in difficult times. We only knew crimes through cinema but in reality, there was no such thing. People have always welcomed and expressed love for outsiders. Tourists have always appreciated the friendliness and soft corner of the people of Kashmir. Shocking incidents like murder, robbery, trafficking, drugs, and rape have spurred its head now. Instead of teaching lessons about humanity, we are encouraging children into sins. The reason for such crimes is that we don’t follow our religion very well. Islamic institutions must teach boys and girls a perfect way of living. The value of humanity must be taught in schools. Humanity is the only way to become a better human being. Moral education must be promoted to spread good things in every society. One must act correctly and go for self-observation every day. Humanity must be a priority no matter how the situation is. Media must extend a helping hand to people in trouble. Social media channels must upload content to promote humanity. People must be gentle towards others and give up cruelty so that love and brotherhood become our identity.
