Inhabitants of Bahrampora, Kunzer here on Tuesday expressed dismay over the dilapidated condition of inner roads in the area.

The residents speaking to Good Morning Kashmir said the roads in the locality are in shambles and despite regular requests to concerned departments “the damaged roads have been left unattended.”

“We are going to pillar to post for the macadamization of roads but our pleas are going unheard by the concerned department heads,” they said.

“In winter, commuting and walking on the road becomes difficult as it gets waterlogged easily,” he said, adding, “It’s especially hard for children and adults.”

The residents of the area have urged the higher officials to look into the matter and macadamize the inner road at the earliest.
