Kalpesh has a rich experience of 10 years of handling and leading various projects. He is an independent freelancer associated with Academic Institutions and Social Organizations. Prior to achieving job independence he was working with Dr. Reddy's Foundation (DRF) as Area Head. Before joining DRF he was working with Good Weave India a leading & prominent organization in the field of Social Audits as Program Officer. Kalpesh has worked in a leading pharmaceutical company in Ahmedabad where he served for two years as Executive Operations and contributed through various roles. Next, he joined The Kishkinda Trust in Hampi, Karnataka where he was engaged and played a key role with the projects of Women Empowerment – Cottage Industry, Microfinance and promotion of Rural Tourism contributed by UNESCO and INTACH. He has obtained B.E. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA in Rural Management. He also has a PGDHR in Human Rights. He has been associated with a number of projects of Rural Development, Rural Production and Livelihoods, Women’s & Children’s Rights through prestigious academic institutions like KIIT University and University of Delhi. Kalpesh is Founder Chairman of an NGO namely ACAAS (Action for Community Empowerment And Advocacy for Social Justice) working for Rural and Marginalized Women Empowerment in the areas of two districts in Gujarat. Kalpesh is also a published author and has published his first book ‘Vāṅkathēlī suvārtā'ō’ a theological research book in Gujarati. He is interested in literature and during free time, he writes articles and critiques on current affairs. His articles have been published in Dailies and Weeklies. His hobbies also include watching documentaries on Spirituality, Astrophysics and Planetary sciences. Kalpesh is impressed and inspired by the works of personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa and Elaben Bhatt.
