Army man killed in cross LoC firing in Nowshera

Jammu: An Army jawan was killed when Pakistani troops resorted to firing and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector on Monday.

The heavy Pakistani firing and shelling were reported along the LoC in Nowshera sector, the officials said.

In retaliatory fire, the Indian army had inflicted heavy damage on the Pakistani side.

An Army jawan was critically injured after being hit by cross-border shelling in Nowshera sector, they said, adding that he succumbed to his injuries later.
