Dear sir,
I write to invoke your esteemed attention to a matter of profound concern, regarding the recent recruitment process of AAYA cum Helper posts in schools under the Early Childhood Care Education (ECCE) program.Despite the notification’s clear criteria, indicating preference for candidates from the BPL category, orphans, and divorced individuals, it has come to my notice that, individuals from the affluent echelons, boasting properties valued in lakhs of rupees, have purportedly found their way into the shortlisted candidates’ roster. This glaring incongruence with the stipulated criteria gives rise to grave reservations about the sanctity and transparency of the selection process.
The foundational principle of uplifting the marginalized appears to be in jeopardy, necessitating immediate redress. This blatant deviation from the specified criteria is causing concern among eligible candidates who rightfully fall within the intended beneficiary groups. Furthermore, reports of a confrontation between two candidates in Ganderbal Outside your office, where one admitted to paying a substantial sum of thirty- six thousand rupees for her selection.Such revelations not only undermine the integrity of the recruitment process but also cast a shadow over the entire education system.
Moreover, the objection period, which was supposed to allow candidates to raise concerns within seven days after filing objections, appears to lack the efficacy it claims to provide. Disturbingly, reports have surfaced indicating instances of nepotism and favoritism within the selection process. In addition to these apprehensions, the committee tasked with addressing objections appears to just operate under questionable auspices. The conflation of Below Poverty Line ration cards with Aay cards, devoid of transparent elucidation on the criteria for such categorization, raises serious doubts about the committee’s commitment to impartiality. A re-evaluation of the committee’s composition is imperative, ensuring an unwavering commitment to the principles of fairness and objectivity. The analogy drawn between individuals receiving rice at drastically different prices questions the committee’s understanding of economic disparities. The disparity between someone buying rice at 2 rupees per kg versus 15 rupees per kg cannot be overlooked, and it undermines the credibility of the entire recruitment process.
Poor grievances fall on deaf ears; how can one with meager resources navigate courts and government offices? A cry for justice echoing in the void. In light of these troubling revelations, I earnestly request a comprehensive and impartial investigation into the alleged irregularities in the recruitment process. It is essential to restore public trust in the education system and ensure that the recruitment process aligns with the intended goals of promoting inclusivity and providing opportunities to those genuinely in need.I appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and look forward to hearing about the actions taken to address these concerns.
