The 75th Independence Day holds profound significance for our nation, which endured the torment of British oppression. Our people, men, women, and children alike, faced the harsh treatment of being treated as slaves by the Britishers. True heroes emerged as leaders who could not tolerate the injustice, deciding to fight and sacrifice everything for their country. Today, as an independent and developing nation, we owe our freedom to those who stood by us.

The memory of freedom fighters’ bloodshed is eternally saluted, and the sacrifice of these heroes is deeply embedded in our national consciousness. Special days like Republic and Independence Day are indelibly imprinted in our minds. August 15 marks our liberation from England, and on January 26, 1950, our constitution was adopted, solidifying our status as a republic.

In 2024, as we celebrate the 75th Republic Day, the bond between the people and this significant date is evident. Thousands gather to witness the President unfurl the Indian flag at Rajpath, where grand events and parades showcase the richness of our diverse culture. Each state and Union Territory proudly displays its unique cultural heritage, from Kashmiri rauf and shikaris to folk dances representing different regions.

Children, women, and men participate enthusiastically, holding the national flag and singing anthems. The tri-color adorns markets, houses, and buildings nationwide, symbolizing unity. Patriots raise flags as a gesture of love for the country, while those at home honor and respect the national flag. The 75th Republic Day is a celebration of our journey from oppression to freedom, a testament to the resilience and spirit of our nation.
