4.9-magnitude earthquake jolts Kashmir

An earthquake of 4.9-magnitude jolted Kashmir valley on Thursday.
As per the reports, the earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 on the Richter scale hit Kashmir valley at around 4.19 pm.

This is the 2nd earthquake to strike the region in the last 24 hours.

Kashmir Weather portal reported that the earthquake that occurred at 04:19 pm had a magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter scale and the epicentre was Afghanistan.

There was no report of loss of life or damage to property.
