3 BJP workers from Kupwara detained while trying to hoist tricolour in Lal Chowk

Srinagar: Police on Monday detained three BJP workers from north Kashmir’s Kupwara as they tried to hoist tricolour at Ghanta Ghar in Lal Chowk.

The trio reached Lal Chowk early morning to hoist tricolour to send a message to members of Peoples Alliance. However, police swung into action and detained the trio BJP leaders.

A police official told Good Morning Kashmir that the trio BJP workers from frontier district (Kupwara) have been lodged at Kothibagh police station.
