22-yr-old drowns to death in north Kashmir’s Mirgund

A 22-year-old youth, Tajamul Hussain, drowned to death in the Chenabal area of Mirgund in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.

According to locals, Tajamul slipped into deep water body nearby.  Despite efforts by locals to rescue him, he could not be saved.

Tajamul was the cousin brother of Surkhab Zehra, a journalist associated with Good Morning Kashmir.

Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident and further proceedings have been initiated.
